When I arrived in Gulfport Saturday evening, I found my planned accommodations unavailable. Called Seabreeze Inn and the owner, Frank, welcomed me to the Inn without delay. What was orignally going to be a one night stay has turned into 3. I hate to leave tomorrow.

Mark is the caretaker and he is all about service. He lives onsite so is available most times. I asked for a 5 pm checkout time and Mark didn't charge me for staying late. Never had another facility be that generous.
The Inn is delightful, very charming and quaint. The rooms are huge and have private spacious tile bathrooms with both tub and walk-in shower. Most rooms have a private porch/deck overlooking either the landscaped patio, or the beach/park/water. There are a couple cottages on site too. Ample free, offstreet parking. Located only 2-3 blocks from all the restaurants, bars, shops, The Casino, and more. They provide a free Continental breakfast daily. There is a large, formal living room open to a sunken dining room. There are bright window that look out onto the outside dining patio, and the beach/water beyond. From what I've seen the furnishings are Victorian, with lots of antiques and Oriental rugs. Very homey. The Inn is small and perfect to be rented to a moderate group as a retreat, wedding party, special event.
I live in the area and my parents stayed here. The staff is accommodating, it is quiet, across from the beach, a block away from great restaurants and boutique shops in an artsy community yet minutes from downtown Saint Petersburg.
I highly recommend Seabreeze Inn for those looking for an affordable, clean, friendly, convenient place to stay in an old school Bed and Breakfast. Oh, and I found several bags of beautiful shells at Pass-A-Grille Beach to take home.
